Challenge

Northwell was seeking to tell the Northwell story, create personal experiences, drive conversions, and retain loyalty/build trust.

They had underutilized, siloed, disparate, incomplete, and inaccurate data, which hindered their visibility into consumer touches/actions, and desire to measure ROI.  Many e-mails were invalid or incomplete, phone numbers had been illegitimately provided, and physical addresses were often old, entered incorrectly, or were incomplete or varied from data provided within different data sources.

Solution

Reach processed all of their data through our multi-step ReachVerify process to establish a data governance, ensure accuracy, and build depth within each record.

Our data experts improved data within three main channels, email, postal and telephone.

Examples include:

  • checks for valid structures (e.g. changing john@gmal.co to john@gmail.com )
  • scrubs for fake e-mails (e.g. nospam@aol.com )
  • passing US phone number through validation processes including area code, prefix, and number structure
  • appending missing postal data such as zip, suite, city, etc.

Result

As a result, Northwell was able to more confidently and effectively send marketing correspondence to its target audience.
